
Sourdough Grilled Cheese
Anything sourdough is trending these days, so what better way to enjoy it than by pairing it with your childhood favorite, grilled cheese. We’ve added our microgreen broccolis to finish off the dish with a nutritious twist. Enjoy it at home, outdoors, or on the go.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup Round Top micro Broccoli
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- On the non-buttered side of two slices, spread Dijon mustard if using, then layer with shredded cheese and micro bok choy.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side out.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on one side, about 3-4 mins.
- Flip and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted. Slice the sandwiches in half and serve warm with tomato soup.
